Premier Medical Necessity (PMN) compliance product

A new preliminary ABN was introduced in the spring of 2007. Premier Software has been aware of this and recently completed the programming. We have been looking forward to the official introduction of the revised ABN (CMS-R-131).

On March 3rd 2008, CMS released an announcement that the new ABN is available and providers may begin using it at any time. Mandatory implementation has been changed to March 1st 2009.

The ABN (CMS-R-131) is part of PMN version 8.0 in addition to other product enhancements.

You must be on version 7.3 before upgrading to V8. Please click here for version 7.3 upgrade information.

Download Instructions:

• Click pmn8.zip and choose save.
• In the "Save In" drop down box at the top choose the location to where you want to save the file.
• After you have saved the files open the directory where you saved the file and double click it to extract the file or files to the desired directory.
• The files are now ready to upload to the iSeries platform.
